​UBPEA is an entertainment agency that was created to give undiscovered minority artists the resources, education, and opportunities to represent themselves as a multi-faceted creative. We are dedicated to evolving the perception of Black media in every aspect of entertainment. We encourage artists to explore their creativity and produce works that not only showcases their artistic talents but produces media content that better expresses the viewpoints of minorities. With extensive specialized training, exclusive opportunities, and artistic masterpieces that serve as the basis to what UBP has to offer!

I just wanted to let you all know that UBPEA is committed to serving all undiscovered minority artists. If you feel as if you don't confine to society's norms... You don't fit into a box or label... You're a fierce and unapologetic artist... This agency is for YOU! When people see UBPEA, they see the Black first. But when people see us in real life, they only see the Black first. This is coming from a black disabled woman. UBPEA allows us to take control of media content that represents us and create the stories we want to tell. No matter what color you are, religion, sexual identity or disability, we welcome you. Our main goal is to get your stories across to millions of viewers in the most creative and collaborative ways possible. I welcome anyone who is dedicated to the crafting of their artistic pathway.

DeJane' I. Manuel
​DeJane' Manuel is the CEO and Co-Founder of Unapologetically Black Productions: Entertainment Agency. DeJane' is a Cleveland native whom has dedicated her life to excellence in the creative arts realm. Since a young age, she has partaken in singing, acting, dance, musical instruments, writing and directing, modeling and photography. She has performed at the East Cleveland Theatre and worked with Barbizon Modeling Agency. A graduate of the Academy for the Performing Arts in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Ohio University where she studied Entrepreneurship and Diversity in Media Studies, Theatre and African American Studies.
